@cooliopool: Wind chimes are super important to me, besides them being such a simple object, they portray humanity so well in my opinion. The simple notes that wind chimes play can remind you of everything that has happened to you, even if wind chimes weren’t present in the moment. They make you think about it all: the good, the bad, the medium, everything. It hits you with waves of emotion, from sadness to happiness, and even hope. As someone who struggles with looking forward to the future, wind chimes create this sensation of hope to me, they let me imagine things that are in my life and where i’d want it to go in my future, or just an imagination where i’m happy, and i feel this sense of relief or just comfort of these ideas. I think of the sad moments i could have in my life, but i still think of a path going forward, and it means so much to me. Another special thing about wind chimes is that, it will never be the same. Despite its same notes a windchimes could have; the wind will never blow the same way as it did a week ago, or a year ago, or even a decade ago. Although its similarity in sound, it’s a different thing everytime. I like that idea, there always something new about everything.
