September 10th Pamela Lee Gaff, 51 years old, South Tower 102nd floor Pamela Lee Gaff was born on September 10, 1950 to Dorothy and Joseph Damush. She grew up in Robbinsville, NJ, and lived there in adulthood as well. Pamela attended and graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School in 1968, Burlington County College with an Associate’s degree in Accounting, and Rider University with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Pamela married her sweetheart, Kevin Gaff, who she would often tell she loved “body, heart, and soul”. They were married for 29 loving years. The pair loved traveling together, including to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Scottsdale, Cancun, and Sanibel Beach. Pamela also loved the holidays, especially Christmas, and spending time with her nephews, Alan and Brandon, and niece, Amanda. Pamela was described by her friends and family as happy, vibrant, hardworking, and genuine. Pamela worked as a vice president and director of information technology for Aon Corporation on the 102nd floor of the World Trade Center’s South Tower. She worked for the firm for ten years and made many good friends there. Pamela always hung pictures of Paris in her office, which she said went wherever she did. Pamela always left her door open for co-workers to come in with any concerns or for friendly chats. On the morning of September 11, 2001, Pamela came into work on the 102nd floor of the South Tower to conduct a quick job interview, having plans to travel to Chicago later that night. At 8:46 a.m., Pamela was working on the 102nd floor of the South Tower when Flight 11 struck the North Tower. She tried to call her husband to tell him she was alright, her tower was intact, and he shouldn’t worry, but she failed to reach him so she left a message with his brother instead. At 9:03a.m, Pamela was on the 102nd floor when Flight 175 struck the South Tower, leaving her floor above the impact zone. She sadly didn’t survive the attack. Though her life was cut short on September 11th, Pamela’s life, love, accomplishments, and memories are never forgotten. Her vibrant spirit and legacy will live on forever. Happy heavenly birthday, WE WILL NEVER FORGET. ❤️🕊
