There is a tribe in Northern Uganda, they're exactly like Nigerians their names the food they eat their language is similar with Nigerian the tribe is called madi

In Uganda the word yam or Mayuni is a collective term. There is Bukuppa, Balugu, kyetutumula and ndaggu! Uganda has varying types in each food category. That’s why even bananas are a category; matooke, gonja(plantain in west Africa), ndiizi(small sweet bananas), bogoya(long sweet bananas), kivuuvu, nakitembe, Kisubi, Mbidde(Wine making) etc

I think the Nigerian one is NDAGGU, It might look similar to Balugu but totally different. Balugu is kinda bitter 😂 but Ndaggu isn't which is exactly like the Nigerian yam
