it’s incredibly naive to think you can accurately determine what level someone’s deen is on

Islam is all about co existing in a society , treat everyone with respect and manners . Strict rules who pushes a human into isolation was never the point of Islam

Based on their deen? You mean based on your perceptions of their visible behavior in front of other people….not taqwa/deen/iman. That’s a stretch buddy

i have been MSA president so i speak from experience: this is the exact opposite way to run a student org at the university level. your audience is at an age where they are experiencing life for the first time, away from the supervision of their family. by creating a cult-like atmosphere where you decide someone’s worthiness based on their performative behavior (and not based on their skills/merit/knowledge), supervise who they follow on social media (this tells me how jobless you were), and appoint “haya police” (creating an atmosphere where people snitch on their own college peers) — you enabled a restrictive and authoritative impression of islam. i hope the students have real leadership moving forward, or atleast recover from this oppressive experience!

This is a strategy all Muslim clubs must follow, hope you are able to continue in this path. But I believe the original post for the meme isn’t this right?😂

slide 9 makes 0 sense. you said you selected your board based on their deen, and then said you cared whether they feared Allah. forgive me if i’m misunderstanding, but doesn’t that imply that the people who applied and didn’t make your board somehow feared Allah less in your eyes? astaghfirullah. you can’t make such a judgement
