Deirdre, I married at 55 & we did it our way... 100 guests..the important people, the special people. Normal flowers, no boards, no pizza trucks or ice cream trucks... just simple & lovely 😍

YES YES & YES!! I was reluctant to start our married life off in a ridiculous amount of debt but I actually got to the point in wedding planning that I felt embarrassed to share my “DIY” stuff because it didn’t fit the standards that I was seeing online!!

I’ve been engaged since 2019… yes!! That long! Because the thought of planning a wedding actually wrecks me. I just want to go to city hall and get dinner after with family and close friends. That still probably costs a fortune like lol

I was 16 weeks pregnant ….. shame on me 🙈😂 I had a limited budget and made the most of what we could afford. Everyone still had a great time x

Absolutely! My wedding was totesy coz we had no money, but hey ho 🤷🏻♀️we still got married and had a lovely day. I’d rather spend that money on a holiday tbh (not that we can afford that either mind) 😆
