My uncle was one of the jumpers, he made one last call home before he went, my aunt has that voicemail recording saved and will never let it go, I miss that man every day off my life, no one deserved this, no one ever deserves this

Was able to make it there last year. First stop in the city after checking into the hotel. Seeing that quickly scribbled note from the 84th floor by Randy Scott has stuck with me, out of everything there, and I can't say for sure why.

I cried buckets in there, seeing the stairs, the fire engine and twisted columns just heartbreaking to think of the poor souls who perished. Never forget ❤️

I remember visiting NY during my sophomore year right after the memorial fountains were finished...I went to NYC excited to go and find my moms good friends name on the fountain only to feel defeated because I had no luck. So I sat down and called my mom and told her l couldn't find it, and then the second we hung up and I turned to face the fountain....there was his name right beneath my hands. I didn't find him but he found me for her❤️🩹

I cried when I went here. Also there were so many teenagers taking goofy selfies with the artifacts and that is so disrespectful to me. It’s literally a gravesite.

This man speaking had just been asked by a cameraman “what happened?” But just before this exchange the cameraman and this man were just plunged into darkness (I didn’t realize that yeah it was a total blackout) when it fell and the old man said to the cameraman “can I come with you brother”. Then as the dust settles and they could see each other this exchange happened.
