@hitchlife: DAY SHIFT OR NIGHT SHIFT — WHICH ONE WOULD YOU SURVIVE OFFSHORE? 🌞🌙🌊 Offshore work can feel completely different depending on which 12-hour shift you're working. Day shift is busy, loud, and social — cranes moving, crews everywhere, deliveries coming in, and the entire rig feels wide awake. Night shift is the complete opposite. Less movement, fewer people around, darker conditions, and a much quieter atmosphere. But there’s a catch… Working nights can seriously mess with your normal sleep schedule while your body adjusts. On the other hand, some workers prefer nights because the quieter environment can make certain tasks easier, and some roles may include additional shift premiums depending on the employer and contract.
