Men and women firefighters, EMTs, police officers, and first responders walked into the burning towers knowing the danger was real, yet they went anyway. Some went in to save strangers. I was getting ready for school n saw the second plane crash into the second tower while getting ready for a regular day back in 7th grade, as a son of a firefighter, I know how special this day is, also how bittersweet today is. Thank you to all the first responders who gave their lives on the terrible day in history. We will never forget the sacrifice you made, and to current first responders thank you for the sacrifices you make day in n day out.
