@the.baby.whisperer: Did you know what massage does to your baby? 👶🫶 ⠀ Two completely different things, at the same time. ✨ ⠀ 🔹 Firm pressure along the spine, arms and legs reaches the deep muscle layers, releases tension and activates the muscles that support posture and head control. That is why it strengthens the back and neck. ⠀ 🔹 Soft strokes on the skin reach a different set of receptors, calming the nervous system, helping digestion and telling baby they are safe. ⠀ That is why most babies relax almost instantly, and why a daily massage builds better sleep and resilience alongside strength. ⠀ A warm bath, a little natural oil and a few minutes a day, and both systems get what they need. 💛 ⠀ Do you massage your baby? Tell me in the comments 👇 ⠀ @myoneosteo ⠀ #osteopathymalaysia #baby #pediatrics #kids #development
