By dating he doesn’t mean we get married immediately they get to know each other ofc because in western society they date and get intimate and things and all of a sudden they broke up it doesn’t work intimacy comes after marriage you don’t need to give yourself to a man just for him to marry you..

For those of you saying "How do you get to know her or to get to know each other" If you want her you and your family would manage meetings with her family and obviously she would be there then you can talk with her and her family..once twice maybe 10 times until you are sure she is the one then you marry if not you can apologize politely and leave peacefully before anything happens between you and her.

my friend literally had dates with his now wife with her father/mahram present, so yes there is a form of dating that is allowed as long as islamic rulings are maintained. this is a good kind these days to get to know the other person over time
