Walking through the museum was honestly overwhelming. There were so many details and stories from that day that I never knew until visiting. Hearing the phone calls that were made that morning, seeing personal belongings, and walking through the exhibit filled with photographs of the lives lost puts everything into a completely different perspective. You realize that behind every number was a person, a family, and an entire life. It’s an incredibly emotional experience, but one that I believe is worth it. 25 years later, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families who continue to carry that loss.
