🥞 @Woosa Pancake Restaurant 📍 Lonsdale St, CBD 💌 invite — Smoked salmon salad ($21.5) — Steak benedict ($29.9) — Karaage chicken waffle ($27) — Matcha strawberry latte ($12.5) — Nutella latte ($12) Woosa might be known for their fluffy soufflé pancakes, but did you know they also have a whole range of Japanese fusion dishes? 👀 We got to try out their new menu and started with the steak Benedict. The steak was super tender and the hollandaise was delicious, but unfortunately the egg was a little overcooked. The staff were aware of it and very kindly apologised, which we appreciated. We also had the smoked salmon salad because… health is wealth 😂 It was fresh, light, and the dressing complemented everything really well. The highlight for me was definitely the savoury waffle with chicken karaage. The waffle had bacon and spring onion throughout, giving it such a delicious savoury flavour, while the karaage was tender, juicy, and crispy. Such a good combo! For drinks, you already know I had to get the matcha 🍵 And this one was a winner because they use Marukyu Koyamaen, so you know they’re using the good stuff. The mister went for the Nutella latte and absolutely loved it, although it was a little too chocolatey for me — but that’s coming from someone who isn’t a chocolate lover 😂 If you’re after a cosy spot with Japanese fusion dishes, fluffy soufflé pancakes, and fun drinks, definitely give Woosa a try! Thank you Woosa for having us & @rankONE Restaurant Marketing for organising 🫶 ⭐️ 4/5 ⭐️
