@jesscreelman: This memory hit me hard. Looking back now, all the signs were there. I knew I was falling apart at the seams, but I still couldn’t bring myself to admit how badly I needed to stop drinking. I was using alcohol to cope, telling everyone I was fine when I was anything but. Seeing posts like this makes me so incredibly proud of the decision I finally made. I’m almost two years sober now, and I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. Sobriety didn’t magically fix everything, but it gave me the chance to finally start healing. I wish I could go back and hug the version of me in this video and tell her, “You don’t have to keep living like this. Life is going to become so much better than you can even imagine.
