On September 3rd, a Good Samaritan witnessed something heartbreaking—a car stopped along the side of Route 18 and abandoned a tiny 4–6-week-old kitten. Thankfully, they didn't look away and reached out for help. We jumped into action and got her the medical care she needed. Meet our tiny warrior, Xena. 💜🐈‍⬛ Xena was found to have a broken hind leg with multiple fractures. Because she is so young and still growing, she will need ongoing veterinary care as she heals and develops. Despite her rough start, Xena is now safe, loved, and recovering in foster care. But Xena is just one of many cats and kittens who depend on us for medical care. From emergency veterinary visits and medications to vaccinations, preventative care, and spay/neuter surgeries, our medical bills continue to grow. ✨ Your donation—no matter the amount—can make a difference.
