This soft tissue protects joints from hard impacts when babies crawl and learn to walk... The cartilage begins to harden aged 2-6 and turn to bone. At aged 10-12 they are mostly bone and the pieces fuse together. The process can keep finishing up through puberty. However you have knee problems from any age, including dislocations while its still just cartilage #kneepain #kneeproblems #kneedislocation #hypermobility #knees
