@nursemidwifenyela: Inductions take time. Here is a realistic timeline of the induction process. #inductionoflabor #cervicalripening #firsttimemom #hospitalbirth #pregnancy
For women scared of induction. I got induced at 9am on May 8 and gave birth at 5pm the same day. 1st baby at 39 weeks.

This is my 4th go in Sunday night and hopefully she’ll be here by Monday evening. All my babies have arrived within 24 hours! Induced with all due to medical reasons but smooth deliveries. Just hoping this little girl isn’t stubborn 😂😂

With my first they started inducting at 5:30a and I had her at 8:39a, my son they started at noon and I had him at 4:11pm. My youngest daughter they started around 1pm and I had her at 5:55pm. All 3 kids were born on the same day of induction day. I’m pregnant with #4 and induction is set for Oct 5th. I’m already dilated so this little guy will be a fast delivery like my other 3

I wasn’t dilated at all with my first when I went in and it took about 20 hours. I’m currently 3cm and scheduled for an induction in 2 days and I’m hoping it’ll go much faster 😅

Unfortunately the very first thing they done was breaking my water, then they gave me iv with induction. They banned me from eating or drinking even water (now I know its because the thought this might turns into C-section). I felt dry, totally dry my mouth was dry my cervix was dry. At the end they used that vacum thing with a cut. All of this was 12 hours. I do not recommend early water breaking.

I got lucky. Was given cervadil at 3pm and I started having regular noticeable contractions at 10 pm. Mostly in my back. By 11 pm they got painful. And then by midnight I gave birth. I only pushed 3 times and had gone from 4cm to fully dilated in a matter of 10 or less minutes.

I have had contractions that they had to stop because I was only 35 weeks. Also got diagnosed with pre eclampsia. They kept me for almost a week and we’ve done are very best to keep him in but he’s not having it… I am going in at 9pm on Sunday (it’s currently Friday night) to take misoprostol to soften my cervix (yesterday - Thursday - I was 1cm) Monday morning we are starting pitocin. What should I expect?? I wanted to go into labor on my own and planned on doing no epidural for many personal reasons. What should I expect?? Should I rethink the epidural? I’m not OPPOSED to it but I’d really rather not do it… I should prolly just dm you lol. Thanks for any response!

Im having my first baby. My induction has been scheduled for October 29th at 8pm. I really love the idea of a Halloween baby. Is there a chance for the 31st? 😅

Why do we need to get induced? Is it the timeline or health issues? If I have a healthy pregnancy, why do I need to get induced?
