What's actually true is better. 💛 The Prophet ﷺ said: "Fever is from the heat of the Fire, so cool it with water." (Bukhari 3263) And almost the same instruction for a different kind of heat: "Anger comes from the devil, the devil was created of fire, and fire is extinguished only with water. So when one of you becomes angry, he should perform ablution." (Abu Dawud 4784) A body running hot gets water. A heart running hot gets water too — wudu, specifically, on your face, hands, feet. You know what it feels like to run hot that isn't fever. The message you shouldn't send. The argument still playing in your head. Same instruction as the fever: don't manage it in your head. Cool it.
