why are people so huge on "glass child syndrome" but then when a mother acknowledges it, instead of praising her for bringing attention to it, people are denying that the boy may feel this way. in no way am i saying the mother isnt doing enough, but the amount of people making up what this boy feels from a couple second video is kind of insane. stop tryna be contrary? the mother understand glass children are real, thats a good thing????

This absolutely did not ruin his childhood. This made his childhood dedicated to his sibling and no matter how old he gets he will not regret 1 second of the change. He is blessed to be able to help that little soul.

Be carefully bringing it up too much there’s a chance she will never forgive herself even though she has nothing to forgiven herself for she could still carry guilt that just won’t go away and it being brought up just seals those thoughts right in.

This is literally me and my brother right now (I’m the one with cancer ) and that young man has all the empathy and understanding for human kind, and he will too. Seeing it at a young age will make him wiser and kinder beyond his years ♥️

This 🥲🥲 my daughter was 2 when my son was diagnosed she knew more about chemo and hospitals then a normal child but she is the most kind and caring soul now, she cares for all children with special needs at her school and forever tells her brothers story! They are 7 & 5 now bicker like buggars but have the best bond❤️

this was my little brother and I since he had cancer at 2 yrs old being 19 now my whole life has been dedicated to him. I love my brother to pieces but I won’t deny that his situation has taken away experiences from us. Since cancer left him permanently not able to talk or do many things it definitely is a tough life on my family but I still wouldn’t trade my brother for anything. Just always try to acknowledge his feelings and try to always make sure he feels important too! Your son will definitely grow up being so kind and understanding but it dosent make it any easier. You are doing great keep it up! (so sorry for the long comment I just thought to share since I’ve had a similar experience)

My daughter at 3 years old has to see her older brother 9 years old go by ambulance soooo many times she now tried to help during emergencies. She can tell if you’re hurting, and is always like you ok!? Can I make it better, need a kiss? It’s like girl you’re going to be a nurse one day…. I promise you they grow up loving a bit harder!

As an older sister with a t1d brother, I felt this❤️growing up I never wanted anything more than to take what my brother was going through away but being right there front & center by his side always was most important. Your babies are in my prayers🥹🙏

I had aplastic aniemia at 5, my brothers were 9, 11 and 16 at the time, we have a single mom and unfortunately my brothers wernt cared for the way they should’ve when extended family was asked to take them to school, house was a mess, mum did what she could but it was hard for everyone while I was an hour from home
