Your grass is soft and in my opinion won’t make good feed without a serious wilt , you should try it with one field then you will see

Why don’t you roll the plastic foil up and use it again later? The silage is going to be in the same place anyway, so you’ll need the same foil again. We reuse ours even three times. If needed, we just put a thin layer of underlay film underneath, so there’s practically no waste.

You didn’t wilt it enough , if you turned it out and waited till it changed colour towards haylage then pick it it would have been rocket fuel
