Whoever told you to stay, there is not a good person. This is known to be a bad area even when you research it should pop up. I hope you’re safe and far away from there !! Greece is so beautiful but like many countries they have bad areas and this is definitely one!!!

We go every year to Athens, Syntagma for the heart or Glyfada for the coast, if we HAVE to drive through Omania, windows up, doors locked, absolute no go area.
