For people wondering why Autozone didn’t replace her battery- Some cars we aren’t allowed to replace due to complex installation/removal or because some newer cars (especially euro) have BMS which without communication to the computer can overcharge the new battery leading to damaged electrical components. There also could be other ECU coding factors that we can’t change when putting in the new battery.

JORDAN :

Yeah same with my car new car and the battery just died and we couldn’t jump start it cuz one of the positives or negatives died or something so it was short on one of them therefore couldn’t hold a charge I’m not a car guy but yeh it was a newish car but here’s the thing right we have road side for 10 years they wouldn’t come out cuz the car was a week outside of it’s service date but it wasn’t cuz we had it serviced thru a different guy but because the car had a auto thingy installed for every 10k kilometres or 15k can’t remember it went off again and yeh so it was all outta pocket unless if we wanted to pay 100 for the road side and the 100 for them to come out then 350 for a new battery

alex_villa_23 :

Damn. Vanilla got fleeced. Autozone battery installation is included with the purchase of a battery.
