god bless you! idk how you do this. I would never wanna leave them. I 100% believe my mom caused this. when she decided when we were kids to get a dog. we went and one of the dogs we visited was hyper (i believe because he was there for a while and was happy to be out) b3ing that my brother is mentally handicapped my mom couldn't/wouldnt get him in fear of my brother and the dog being too much together. the next day she told us they ended up putting the dog down because it was there too long g and no one wanted him. weather it happened or not I still cry about it when I think about him. she did end up surprising us with a puppy (i didnt want him after she told us about the other one) but we had him for 13yrs. when my mom and step dad divorced he put our dog to sleep because he didnt want to be responsible for him. I literally was sooo scared to own dogs because of those 2 instances. but here I am 2 dogs and they live their best life. I wish I could win the lottery buy a huge plot of land and take all the dogs that are over looked
