This take is too black-and-white. Sure, nobody should keep accepting endless excuses for low effort, but acting like every woman fully knows what she’s doing and is just choosing not to meet you halfway skips over a lot. People of both sexes make excuses, get burnt out, or just have different ideas of what effort even looks like. Culture plays a huge role too—plenty of places still run on traditional role splits—and a lot of religious traditions (Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc.) spell out different duties for men and women. Calling every shortfall deliberate withholding shuts down the possibility that it’s just a mismatch or a communication problem
