Personally I dont think there is a 13th sign. Scorpio and ophiucus intersect. They almost look like 1 whole constellation , so its just scorpio

yeah but technically a year should be of 13 months 28 days each (like the moon cycle and female one) and hence 13 zodiacs make sense... can't remember why they chose the 12 month thing which doesn't align with anything and resulted in this comedy of not having equal days etc...

One good way to think about the "why" there's only 12 zodiac signs is that they're placeholders of energy. The best example of it is the tropical astrology, it doesn't matter what constellation is in the sky because it's more about the time of the year or season, like scorpio is in the middle of autumn.

I don’t expect #13 sign. My plans are for a family meeting, my brother, is a Leo and I am a Leo, he’s a July 27, and I am Aug 18, so we butt heads a lot. And I had a stroke 2 years ago. I withdrew from my ACC (community college) I want to be Bakery Chef but I can’t move my right arm sooo yeah :( I’m putting a pause on bakery dream!!!

I like the history segments. on the 13th sign I think it adds value if modern astrologers pick it up start using sidereal and update our clock with new pattern recognized statistical modeling. for traditional i dont like it. I dont want virgo to be 45 degrees, i am sorry that spits in the architype of the perfectionist. PS I think mars is drive as its full cycle over the zodiac matches nicely with the 2 year hormonal cycle of kids. Hence mars return. also my plan is to sleep today😂

with ophiuchus being reinserted Pisces becomes the 13th&1st...bc it's the 12 position like on the face of a clock! the 12 o'clock position is the beginning and ending position like on a circular tract...the real alpha/Omega position

honestly, a base 12 system is so much more straight forward and adaptable than a base 13 system would be. like, 12 is such an amazingly hyper-divisible number. it has SIX factors—that’s HALF the number itself—and then 13 is literally prime lmao. it really does throw a wrench into absolutely everything to include it
