I have used alot of pai. And in my experience there failure rate is the lowest of anything ive used.

My thing about when people say “so-and-so makes this part for so-and-so” is that can be very true. But they can still be built to different specs and standards by the exact same machine. Not saying that’s what happened here, but it is done a lot in industry.

That’s awesome! I toured the Freighliner factory in a Portland back in the mid 90’s and got to watch our new truck roll off the line.. That was cool! Things have sure came a long way since then!

Cat and Cummins are not casting parts for motors they don’t currently produce. And even then, some of the parts are likely outsourced.
