I literally just left a relationship because of this experience. I realized they don’t have the capacity of have TRUE healthy partnership. Due to how he was raised and his family dynamics he was never able to grow into an autonomous and authentic person. He was enmeshed with his mother and sister. He’s the “golden child “ and can’t do any wrong. Here I come trying to assist him. But I became the problem. I let him have it. He’s has fantasy mind set.

With the amount of people in this world dealing with this from others in relationships, friendships, and even family I wonder what’s the deeper purpose behind these experiences. It got to be a reason people are going through these things and the other question is what are we suppose to learn from these experiences especially when we keep running into the same kinds of people with these issues…

Yup, expressing myself began to feel like I was the “issue”. He would assign emotions to me even when I was perfectly content. I didn’t realize he was projecting until I went home & spent time with myself again. It’s like I felt a sense of relief. Our “communication” was solely based on his mood. And when we would “resolve” things it was only bc I would give in, and apologize even when I still felt I wasn’t completely at fault. I understood him but he never even tried to understand why I was upset, even when I explained he gave me his own reasoning. I started to question my own thoughts/feelings.
