@guardian: “The Americans bombed us,” said Abdullahi Mohamed Abo Sheikh Ali, whose home was destroyed during an airstrike on the village of Jamaame, in Somalia. In November 2025, at least 12 people, including eight children, died during a US attack in the east-African country. The US has never admitted civilian deaths. But this attack is only the tip of the iceberg as latest data indicates 80 US strikes in Somalia in 2026, averaging about a bombing every two or three days. This is more than the total number conducted by US forces during the entire Biden administration. We spoke to journalist Mohamed Gabobe who was part of the Guardian team that pieced together what happened that day.
