So everyone is amazed by a 512 TB SSD… but at what price? 😂 Obviously technology progresses and it’s impressive from an engineering standpoint, but if the answer is basically “throw an absurd amount of money at it,” then what exactly am I supposed to be impressed by? Expensive things doing expensive things isn’t exactly mind-blowing. Show me 512 TB for a reasonable price, and then I’ll be impressed.

I'm curious about the actual life span of these, seeing as how a normal SSD can work for years without any errors, how are these handling backup areas and T.R.I.M functions..? Will there be a second hand market for these and will it be worth buying one used for years and years?
