My daughter moved to a different city to live with her boyfriend she’s 20 she’ll be 21 here soon, but it’s so weird to have adult conversations with her, but I actually really love it cause we’ve gotten closer

After my husband passed we hit quarantine, my son and I just opened more then we ever have. I raised him different than I was raised and he’s now 22 and we are very open. The only thing I don’t share is when my ex beat the tar out of me and I hid it u til the bruises were gone, he asked why I friend didn’t like this ex and I came clean. It was like 8mos after and the anger he had, he asked why I didn’t tell him, I told him I didn’t want to visit him behind bars. He doesn’t like him but understands why I hid it.It is weird but it’s nice also know you raised a decent human.
