I watched my mom try to commit multiple times. There is something that breaks in you when you see it. I’ll never forget the cops taking us away and she wouldn’t even look us in the eye. I didn’t see her for years. 15 years later we are no contact. She never got better. I see that she tried. But I also see she tried to give up. I’ll always forgive her as a human. As a daughter.
