@breakingnewsnow7: 💬 Keeping the Lamar and Sosa families in our thoughts as they mourn this unimaginable loss. 🕊️ A family’s trip home from the Bahamas ended in tragedy after a small private plane carrying two grandparents and two of their grandchildren disappeared on September 7 while headed to Miami. The family identified those aboard as Mario Lamar Sr., 80, his wife Lili Lamar, 79, and their grandchildren Sofi Sosa, 28, and Christian Sosa, 22. Mario, who was piloting the Piper PA-34, had more than 40 years of flying experience. The family had spent the long weekend at their second home on Great Harbour Cay and was returning to South Florida. Air traffic control lost contact with the aircraft roughly 13 miles west of Andros Island. Poor weather initially hampered official search efforts, and relatives and civilians took boats out to help. Tragically, family members ultimately located their loved ones and helped recover all four bodies on September 8. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Bahamian aviation authorities. #planecrash #plane #family #grandparents #grandchildren
