Ah this is so interesting! An example that came up in my google search was “thunder and lightning” as an idiom even though scientifically lighting comes before the thunder clap. ⚡️

My closet feels less like storage and more like a museum of every version of me I’ve ever been… fabric spills from every corner, carrying memories I forgot I was still holding onto. Somewhere between the sleeves and seams, I realized I wasn’t running out of space for clothes. I was running out of room for people I no longer needed to be. I outgrew the lives before I outgrew the clothes, shedding old selves and old sweaters until even the air in the closet felt easier to breathe.
