@lauren_andher_littles: Ask any millennial where they were that Tuesday, and I bet they can tell you exactly where they were, what they were doing, and how they felt. Even if they didn’t have family or friends there, this tragedy hit Americans deep in their souls. We watched it unfold in real time, we watched the adults around us try to make sense of it, and we knew—even as kids—that something had changed. It’s hard to reconcile that there’s now an entire generation after us that will never remember the enormity of what happened that day. They’ll learn about 9/11 in history books and see the footage, but they’ll never know what it felt like to be there, watching it happen in real time. We remember. We always will. 🇺🇸 #september11 #911 #twintowers #weremember #america

I was very little when it happened but I do remember that day that my family working downtown all had to leave the building’s and we had to pickup my brother from school right away but as I started getting older I remember the 9/11 clean up year after year and watching GMA every morning that they where cleaning up ground zero

The clean up was another monster that took so many precious lives, the toxicity of that environment and how re traumatizing it was to find someone else or remnants of someone to stop and hear the bells or pipes just horrendous
