@aaronabke: Paul admits, in his own words, that he lied to spread his gospel. In 1 Corinthians 9 he writes: "to the Jews I became as a Jew, to those under the law I became as one under the law, to the weak I became weak." For years the church called this being "flexible." But read it honestly: Paul confesses he pretended to keep the law he privately rejected, to win the trust of the apostles in Jerusalem. And remember, Paul called those who ate only vegetables "weak in the faith." That's James, the brother of Jesus, and the twelve disciples.
