I'm a dual citizen raised in an Irish household in the the Bay Area who was always very liberal/critical of much of the US party line and it still wasn't until I moved abroad as an adult to multiple countries on multiple continents that I started to deconstruct just how cultish and propagandized the US is despite being so dang sure of our star spangled freedom.
