The moment Talia 'empathized' with the apothecary who poisoned her felt less like positive character development or a redeeming quality, and more like her completely breaking down and sinking deeper into a hole of trauma and pain. In that moment, she was desperate and envious, seeing how that woman was willing to risk her life for her daughter—the exact thing Talia had craved from her own mother, someone who never showed her even a shred of mercy. Her deepest psychological wound left her completely in shock and unable to process how to react

Talia siempre fue alguien de un corazón puro y amable, fueron las circunstancias que la hicieron cambiar su forma de ser pero aún así ella logró volver a ser vulnerable y sacar todo el cariño que una vez se le fue negado, ella merece más que nadie recibir amor y poder darlo porque tiene demasiado en su interior, ella merece ser feliz más que nadie, el mundo ha sido demasiado cruel con alguien cuya inocencia aún permaneció intacta cuando tuvo que ser dura y cruel con los demás para poder proteger su frágil corazón 🤧😭💔

The ones who call her nasty are the same miserable dumb bums who can’t grasp understanding of characters or simply ignore the part where she’s literally the main target of all the blame and abuse she got growing up while she had nobody nor ANYTHING. No support system either. And having that at a young age will obviously make you have trauma responses and crazy reactions. But Thalia wasn’t mad enough and that’s the bold print of it. She had every right to be mad. Others who don’t think so are jealous. They don’t get mad about irl victims who also show their anger and act violent to others but when it’s a another valid person who is a character but pretty it hurts their spirit so bad of insecurity that they can’t even sympathize with the same victim like everyone else who was made into how she is now, emotionally intelligence is important. And ignoring what she been through is a difference between thinking you not finna “justify”. How will you expect someone like Thalia to be nice when none of those dirty people was nice to her? So I’m glad she was violent to ALL of them.
