Still hurts after 25 years and will do for many years more. Generation and the future have to know what they did to us. Currently I’m working a few blocks away from World Trade Center in Tribeca. We can feel it and hear it from people in the neighborhood. Never forget please 🙏

I was 6 months pregnant. I remember rubbing my belly and crying and apologizing to my unborn son for what kind of world he was going to be born into. He will be 25 in December. 😢

I was in Spain on holiday and went to my apt to change turned on TV saw what was happening. shouted over the balcony what happened and everyone ran in to watch. we had to fly home 3 days later it was chaotic and so frightening

My company’s HQ was in CA. I’ll never forget their reaction to us working in Boston. They told us to remain in the office & make sales & collection calls while all the other buildings in town were being evacuated. Because they were so far away & didn’t feel the same impact from being close to NY, they wanted the Boston office to remain open & make money. Finally after 1-2pm family members of staff called or showed up at our office outraged that we were told to keep working. At 2:30 we were finally released. I’ll never forget that day & that west coast based company.

I was in Paris. Just got back from the Eiffel Tower. Looked on the television and saw buildings on fire and immediately thought of the movie The Towering Inferno.
