As a book fan, I do consider Luke Castellan as my favorite character. Many would say no, but there’s a whole diary Rick came out with about him. His story is so heartbreaking. If he weren’t neglected or manipulated he would’ve been a good person. He just needed his mom like Percy had hers.

People forget that he was neglected his whole life. He only ever had himself. Percy had sally. A mother who went above and beyond for him. Luke was basically raising himself until he ran away from home. Probably with a bunch of trauma too. He had every right to become what he became. If he hadnt been neglected, he wouldve been better than percy.
