What broke my heart the most was when he told them he was starving and hadn’t had anything to eat since early that morning. So he wasn’t only sick, but also hungry and a traveler. And harming someone in that condition goes against everything Islam teaches us. 💔 And don’t even get me started on the fact that he kept addressing them as “uncles” because they shared the same clan as his mother. He was showing them that level of respect and familiarity, and they still treated him that way. Absolutely heartbreaking. 💔
