Omgggg girl tysm for this video!!! it’s ironic how aristocrats and the upper class romanticized pain n what can kills them as “aesthetic fragility,” while TB among the lower classes was seen primarily as a results of poverty and social failure….It’s crazy how we put such different meanings to suffer only based on “who” was the one that suffering😭

sbnrnya ini ak ngomong with no exact basis sih, cuma sesuatu yang aku sering denger continuously aja dari lecture (udah lupa profnya cite dari riset ke populasi apa dan dan tahun berapa), mechanism behind the attraction to people who embody the traits in the good looking construct adalah one's idea that those people are healthy, therefore more 'suitable' to have a kid with. human evolve and develop this certain image of people who are 'healthy' and 'trusted' learned by the past pattern (berkelompok, yg sakit ditiinggal dkk iykyk), tapi menarik banget waktu sadar bahwa banyak juga sejarah yang menunjukan kalau yang terjadi malah sebaliknya, and the famous quote yg sepertinya propaganda, 'beauty is pain'.. wkwk sangat kontradiktif yaah, I wonder what's the line
