Last night, I had the honor of watching such a nostalgic event—a live celebrity reading of An American Tail, presented in conjunction with Workers Circle’s fight for democracy, with ticket sales and donations supporting immigrant justice. This was one of my favorite movies as a child, and Somewhere Out There was my favorite song. Hearing it again last night brought tears to my eyes. There was something unexpectedly powerful about returning to a story I loved as a little girl and hearing it through the lens of where we are today. What a journey. ❤️ CJ Berry If you enjoyed these few clips I captured, it’s not too late! You can still watch the recording and help support the cause by donating at the link below.
