Mrs. Lacy’s Taco Pie 🌮🥧 A delicious, easy family-style taco pie with a buttery crescent roll crust, seasoned beef, beans, Rotel, green chilies, corn, and plenty of melted cheddar cheese. Customize it with your favorite taco toppings! Ingredients Crust * 2 cans crescent rolls, enough to cover the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish * Cooking spray or a little butter for greasing the dish Filling * 1 lb. ground beef * 1 packet taco seasoning * 1 can Rotel, drained * 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed * 1 can refried beans * 1 small can diced green chilies * 1 cup corn, optional * 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Topping Ideas * Sour cream * Salsa * Guacamole * Diced tomatoes * Shredded lettuce * Jalapeños * Green onions Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. 2. Prepare the crust. Roll out the crescent rolls and press them evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Pinch the seams together to make one solid crust. 3. Cook the beef. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess grease. 4. Add the taco seasoning and prepare according to the package directions. 5. Build the taco pie. Spread the refried beans evenly over the crescent roll crust. 6. Add the seasoned ground beef evenly over the beans. 7. Sprinkle the black beans over the beef. 8. Add the drained Rotel, followed by the green chilies. 9. Sprinkle the corn over the top, if using. 10. Finish with 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it evenly over everything. 11. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the crescent crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. 12. Remove from the oven and let the taco pie stand for 5–10 minutes before slicing. 13. Serve with your favorite toppings—sour cream, salsa, guacamole, tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños, and green onions. Mrs. Lacy’s Tip: Make it your own! Add extra cheese, leave out the beans, add more vegetables, or make it as spicy as you like. It’s hard to mess up! 🌮#MrsLacys #SanfordNC #fyp #SouthernCooking
