Before picking up a paintbrush, Gina was a science teacher. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Biology, taking art classes along the way. She'd been creating art since childhood, but it wasn't until 2018 that she discovered watercolor. A wife and mother of three, Gina opened Art by Gina in May 2025 as her creative side business.
