MANNY_001 :
Bellingham is a better midfielder because he's more complete. He drives games from midfield to attack, he creates, he presses, he defends, he scores. Mainoo is technically very good, especially close control, but Bellingham simply offers more overall impact and big game influence. If Mainoo went to Madrid, I don't see him benching Bellingham. Bellingham is already established and has a different level of goal threat, creativity, and physical presence. Mainoo could compete, sure, but saying he'd automatically bench Bellingham? I don't buy that. If I'm picking one to start in a big match, I'm taking Bellingham.
If Mainoo goes to Real Madrid, I don't think he walks into the starting 11 and benches one of their midfielders. Bellingham's still starts for me. Mainoo could compete for minutes, but saying he'd go to Madrid and bench Bellingham is a big claim, and I don't agree. Mainoo has the potential to be elite, but right now, Bellingham's the more complete midfielder. And I don't even see Mainoo benching anyone in the starting 11 midfield
