You can’t ask for top 3 and not get their TOP 3?! lol! Crazy pants. Don’t ask for top 3. Ask if coffee is fine, or if happy is cool. If a dude asks me my top choices I’m thinking he wants to impress me, so I’ll say the more impressive places right? But if he’s like hey do you do coffee? Are you more of a smoothie girl? I’ll totally be down for that. Long story short, set yourself up for success, not hey what’s your top 3, and then offended if she goes big or goes home right? 🤪 Love you!!!!!

That’s good analogy 😁 How about just a Sunday afternoon brunch on a patio somewhere, when the weather cools down a bit here in Texas. That’s probably a good first date. Brunches are pretty inexpensive. If you go someplace that’s not over the top. Dodie‘s has a good Sunday branch off the menu, but it’s relatively inexpensive.

I totally agree; I prefer something low-key—even just going for a walk. It’s hard to be on a date while eating or at the movies because there isn't time to talk and get to know each other—at least, that’s how I see it.

Yes!!! not the pressure of a big dinner or event. Just a very short first date -happy hour is great. Coffee is fine. What if you don’t like each other or there’s no chemistry. There is no need for all the pressure.
