Just at first look - I think I prefer the empire 40 just for the shoulder strap placement. But the turnlock might satisfy my desire of using a Birkin as a crochet project bag.

I receive my orchid and citrus tomorrow and I’m so excited! They are so stinkin cute 💜💚 interesting that the edge coat is clear I actually sort of like that you can see the layers of leather. I feel like the 40 size would be so good for work or travel. I didn’t grab that one but I think I will if they release again sometime in 2027. Is the triple turnlock 40 about as heavy as the empire 40?
