We knew our cat was dying before anyone left for work. I stayed home so he wouldn't be alone, and he hung on until everyone was home and in the living room. He died with all his humans around him, in our mom's arms 😭🤧

Not my cat (I have a cat now so tiktok feeding me the content), but when I was 16 I was running late for my first job. It was a hot day and I was just getting off school so when I went to run inside, my first dog was laying on the front doormat. I assumed she was relaxing and the door was already open so I thought maybe she wanted to enjoy the heat. I stepped over her. rushed my way to work. didnt look back. when I got home, my parents told me she was sick and they had to put rush her away and put her down. its been 14 years and I still think about how my last moment with her was me stepping over her without a second thought. I still see her laying in front of the door of my childhood home. I still haven't fully forgiven myself for not giving her one last pat when I had the chance.
