I remembered I left a party that night in the city we went to the after party on our way back we got stuck on the e train back to Queens ..didn't get home until 4:00 p.m. that afternoon and then I find out it was a mess in the city

I was at work and watched the smoke from the 17th floor at Bronx Lebanon hospital then saw the collapse from the TV in the waiting room at ICU We were on a code expecting mass casualties but none came Going home all I saw were emergency vehicles from all over especially upstate flying down to the city

I didn’t believe the attack were real on tv. I went up to the roof of my building where I could see manhattan clearly. I looked and saw black smoke in the distance and was baffled.

I was home cutting school because my grandmother was in Puerto Rico and I was half asleep and I heard a star and buck wild say that the second tower just got hit 🙏🙏🙏

By the grace of God, I was late to work bcuz I stopped to get a cup of coffee from the Ocky’s cart on the corner. A random dude, which I thought was drunk, was like heyyy do I see how low that plane is flying? I looked at shrugged it off like maybe the pilot is lit. Next thing I know, BOOOOM!!! The first plane hit. They would let anyone in the other bldg. I was talking to everyone asking mad questions and tryna figure ssshh out..Few mins later, the next plane hit!!! That was the scariest, most longest and quietest walk from there to 86th st. I had heels on. I was in pain from the walk but not as much pain as the angels that never made it out😢😢

I just been crying all day so grateful everyday that shhhh man. My mom was at work my friend mom picked us up I was worried smh. just lost SOMEONE CLOSER TO ME NOT TOO LONG AGO DUE TO THIS ... 9/11 uggh my mom made it on one of the last buses that was coming back uptown... 😌🕯🕯🕯🕯

I remember I was doing the voting polls on p.s 170 on 172nd and Townsend. Never forget I was giving out flyers. This lady runs out of her buildings, you haven’t heard the election is no longer news. A plane hit one of the building of the World Trade Center. We thought she was crazy. National TV watching the first building going up in smoke. Right there the second building gets hit. Remembering the chaos still hurts my heart..
