I watched something happen at work today that really stayed with me. A customer tried to pay her bill, and her card declined. She tried again. Declined. And then again. I could see how uncomfortable she felt, and I thought to myself… THIS is one of the reasons I’m working on building a second source of income. Not because I’m trying to become rich overnight. I want breathing room. I want money left after the bills are paid. I want to be able to buy what I need without worrying if my card is going to go through. And I know there are other hardworking moms and grandmas who want that same kind of peace.
