I just remembered serving this old guy and he put his pin in wrong twice. I warned him if he put it in a third time wrong it would block his card so he turned to his wife and they started discussing what they thought his pin number was at regular volume & everyone around could hear 😭 then he put the pin in wrong again 😭

I work in a charity shop and we have a deaf lady that comes in every Friday to buy herself a new outfit. We have a routine, no talking needed, she hands me a wedge of notes, I hand her back the change,, we both smile and wave goodbye. It's so lovely and easy.
